I thought I will be load up with things to do here in the office but I am just so glad there is nothing much to do. The girls are chatting outside and I told them that I will just stay here to blog. I miss updating my web blog but every now and then, I write something. Right now, I am browsing over the internet and do some reading.

It's nearly lunch time but I have no idea what to eat. I am kind of hungry (I love to eat) but I am looking for some nice food to eat in my lunch time. I am tired of sandwich. I might buy something new.

I am not working today but I will spend my whole day cleaning the house. It's like we are being hit with a tornado and I can't think well if the house is messy. I didn't realized that working and caring for the maintenance of the house is very difficult. This is my first time experience in the workforce and I must say, it's not easy task at all. I am cleaning at night but my body is not used to of it as of the moment.

I am happy that I can do it all today so that tomorrow I can just go and continue my driving lesson. I am so eager to have my license so I can take my daughter out without waiting for hubby to come home. Anyway guys, this is just a quick post and I'll go now and start picking up the toys and do some major clean-up!

The World's Tallest Building

Did you know that the world's tallest building just got even taller and booming? Yes you read it right guys. I was browsing as usual today and just found out that the Burj Dubai tower in the booming Gulf emirate of Dubai has now reached a height of 688 metres and is still growing. It now boasts a whooping 160 storey which makes it the highest skyscraper in the world. How I wish I can go there and see inside.

Sigh.

The skyscraper which is set for completion in September 2009, is one of several mega projects taking shape in Dubai, which is a member of the oil-rich United Arab Emirates (UAE) federation.

Just to give you a quick info, Burj Dubai started in 2004, overtook Taiwan's Taipei 101 tower as the world's tallest building when it reached 512 metres in April 2007. It became the tallest man-made structure on the planet and it has surpassed the 629-metre KVLY-TV mast in the United States.

It's very amazing what man can do.

Every time I hear stories like this, it makes me sad. I was watching the news today and residents in New Orleans were ordered to flee just like the monster disaster storm that bore down on Louisiana nearly three years to the day after Hurricane Katrina wiped out entire swaths of the city.

Hurricane Gustav, which has already killed more than 80 people in the Caribbean, strengthened quickly into a category four and was poised to become a category five storm, packing winds in excess of 250 kilometres per hour. It also knocked down Cuba's tobacco-growing western tip before moving away from the island country into the Gulf of Mexico.

The National Hurricane Centre upgraded a watch to a hurricane warning for more than 800km of Gulf coast from Cameron, Louisiana, near the Texas border to the Alabama-Florida state line, meaning hurricane conditions are expected there within 24 hours.

It really breaks my heart hearing this news so I ask all of you to include this in your prayers that this will end soon.

As usual I am still here at work--working and very hungry. I didn't have my breakfast this morning because I was very late and I forgot to set my alarm clock. Luckily, my boss is also late. No excuses huh? I will be working only till 1:00pm and can't wait to see my daughter Andrea. I am very hungry as well but I don't like buying here in the canteen because they sell the same food all the time. I am looking for some KFC chicken and smoking fries. It's been a while since I eat unhealthy and I kinda miss it.

Tonight, I am planning to watch movie with hubby and do some blog hopping. I will update my blogroll as well and see if some of my blogging friends added me to their links.

Once again, I would like to thank all my blogging friends and the one reading this for always visiting me. Just lately I am having a hard time to check my blog and email because of the demand of my job. I am not so used to of working aside caring from my daughter. It's funny to think this is my first working history ever and my boss always told me I am doing good as a novice. I am glad she love it.

I don't know when I can get back to all of you and I received so many adverts in my EC but sad to say I am not accepting any of it for the reason I can't dropped my EC in the next couple of days. I Missed The Closing Ceremony Of Beijing Olympics

I am so annoyed because everyone is talking about the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympic and they told me that it was another a spectacular ceremony from Chinese people. They are so talented isn't? I am really wondering who is the man behind all this fabulous presentation. I have to say that their opening ceremony is my favorite. It makes my jaw dropped when I saw it. It was really amazing!

I am planning to buy the DVD if it's sold online or ask few friends if they record it. Oh well..my bad!

After a very long day at work, the least thing that came over in my mind is to sit down and play some computer game but a workmate of mine recommended me this website called www.mylifetime.com where I can play some arcade games. It was really funny because yesterday, we were not so busy at work and I have enough time to browse over this site and even more play the games.
